# Bynder Integration Setup

Integrate your existing Bynder account with Dyspatch to use your Bynder assets in Dyspatch templates.

## Bynder prerequisites

Before you can integrate Bynder with Dyspatch, you will need to create a new Permanent Token. First, click the gear icon in the top right and select "Advanced Settings" > "Portal Settings". Next, under "General Settings," click "Permanent Tokens."

Now that you're on the Permanent Token screen, click "Add new token." Then fill in the following fields:

- Description: "Connect Bynder to Dyspatch"
- Integration: "Marketing Automation > Dyspatch"
- Assigned User: Your user
- Scopes: Assets > assets:read

<div class="highlight warning">It's best security practice to keep the scope limited! Dyspatch only needs access to your assets to insert them into an email.</div>

**Take note of the generated token. It is displayed only once, and you will need it in the next section.**

## Adding Bynder to Dyspatch

Now that you have a token, navigate to the [Dyspatch Admin](https://app.dyspatch.io/admin/integrations/dam) page. Click Integrations > DAM, then click the **Add DAM Integration** button.

- **Permanent Token:** The Permanent Token you created in the previous section

Click "Add Integration." You and your team should now be able to access your Bynder assets.

## Using Assets from Bynder

Bynder is available wherever you can insert images in Dyspatch. In the email builder, select an image and click "Replace."
