Use comments to get feedback from stakeholders and reduce review time during QA.
Any user can comment at any time during the email creation process. Typically, they're used when the email is in review to provide actionable feedback to the person making the email.
Use these commands to format your comments and add context:
Command | Keys (PC) | Keys (Mac) |
---|---|---|
Bold | CTRL+B | CMD+B |
Italicize | CTRL+I | CMD+I |
Underline | CTRL+U | CMD+U |
Create Link | CTRL+K | CMD+K |
Numbered List | CTRL+SHIFT+7 | CMD+SHIFT+7 |
Ordered List | CTRL+SHIFT+8 | CMD+SHIFT+8 |
Any user that can access the email can leave a comment at any time by selecting the comment tab in the Email Builder, clicking on the email preview, and adding the comment. It could be other members of your organization who have access to that email's workspace, or anyone with a share link you give them.
This makes comments perfect for team collaboration and for stakeholders to review and leave feedback, without actually editing your draft.
You can share your email with anyone using a Share Link. This option is available under the dropdown menu next to the Preview or Export buttons in the Email Builder and shareable with anyone at any point of the email building process.
If your email is ready for review, select Submit for Approval. This will share a link via email to all users in your Workspace, including any person or group added to Add Approvers, where they can review and leave comments. Note that individual users with a Dyspatch account can opt out of receiving these emails.
To tag a team member im a comment, type the @
symbol followed by their username or email address.
Team members with more than view-only permissions can resolve comments from anyone. This can be handy to indicate that the comment has been seen, or to clear issues that have been resolved.
You can find your notification preferences in the settings section by clicking your user name in the top right and selecting Settings.
