Exporting a Dyspatch Email to Mandrill

You can build beautiful emails with Dyspatch and send them to your customers using Mandrill.

Build and Approve in Dyspatch

Use the Dyspatch editor to build and test your email, then collaborate with your team to approve it.

Download Your Email

Once your email is published in Dyspatch you can download it by clicking Download/Export within the Dyspatch editor. Mandrill supports Handlebars for adding dynamic content to your email, so select "HTML/Handlebars" as your export language. Any DML variables and templating logic will be translated to Handlebars automatically.

Download your email in Handlebars

Your download will be a zipped folder containing everything you need to get your email ready in Mandrill.

Getting the HTML Source Code

Unzip the folder downloaded from Dyspatch and open the HTML file so you can copy its contents and add the email content into Mandrill. You can open the HTML file in a text editor or open the file in a web browser and view the page source.

Here's how to open the HTML file and copy the HTML using your web browser or the text editor that is pre-installed with Windows and MacOS:

Web Browser

Most web browsers will have a "View Page Source" option. The following screenshots will outline steps for Google Chrome.

Open the HTML file in a web browser, and right click the page to open a drop down menu. Select the View Page Source option.

Right click to dropdown menu options. Click the View Page Source option

You will be presented with the HTML source code and you can copy the HTML and add the content into Mandrill.
